Look the main idea was since the enigine is already going to get rebuilt should I spend the money on this. Obviously from what people said I dont need to so I will rebuild it with stock ones. And reasons for holding that for more than a few seconds is to not come in second place. I dont run 1/4 miles. I do distance runs. No I have never had a rod fail. Had one stretch but not break. Most of the upgrades this time will be in the uper half of the build. Ported super and LIM. Northstar throttle body. Ported heads with single piece vaves as well as other stuff. I am going to try and reuse most of the bottom end. But I need a rebuild since a few of the pistons are chipped.
