anything can be done if you have the time, patience, money, tools to do it! to do this on your car you will pretty much have to build a kit from scratch thou.

good luck and hope to see a thread on you doing this!

Will (Overkill) is actually seeing if there is interest in a Turbo Kit for the 3.5 and 3.9 engines.

I asked him to make a thread over here about it, I hope he does.

The transmission would be a crap-shoot. Could hold up for a while, could break right away.

i thought if you have a single turbo you would have to hook it up after the cross over that conects the two headers? just wish to see the cross over set up to understand it a little better
The way many kits do it is to block off the stock downpipe flange- and mount the turbo right in the middle of the crossover. That way, your front bank exhaust heads back through the crossover and then out through the turbo; but since the rear bank exhaust can't exit the downpipe anymore, it is forced to turn back, and come up the crossover pipe- and out to the turbo (pretty much in a mirror image of what the front bank is doing).

So think of it as just relocating the downpipe location- instead of all the exhaust from engine exiting at the base of the firewall, it now exits in the middle of the crossover. (well, by exit - I mean it goes through the turbo, and the outlet of your turbo is plumbed back in to your catback exhaust)
