as long as it's a wet shot there shouldn't be an issue, the shortblock is pretty damn stout, good to around 450+ wheel all day long
i would recommend getting headers, and removing the EGR and cat, a catback wouldn't hurt either, and you will need a tune

Let's put it in a different perspective... How much is this install going to cost you?
I bet that it costs you about the same price as supporting mods for a pulley drop - That's the same amount of horsepower basically, ALL THE TIME.

Dont nos it. Modd it first then after you are at 350 whp with new rods and a built trans throw a 150 shot at it. Dont expect it to last long if you race alot tho. Nos is what 1k? Thats most of the supporting mods you would need.

Why shouldn't he put a 100 shot on it.When you tune for nitrous you normally don't need to reduce timing that much so that your car is slower on the streets then before. Heck, most people I see with a few supporting mods run just as good off of the spray as they do on.
I say go for it, do a 50 shot and progress up, and find someone who is actually good at tuning a 3800 and has done it before.

New they are like 500-600 depending on the brand. Normally people just piece their own kit together for about 250-300.
Also, NOS is a terrible brand, avoid them. The best results I have seen are from NX and ZEX, I would run nothing but them.
