Evenin fellas ! Im back with a question ! I havent been on here in awhile..busy with work...But anyway on the SS, now that im using the heat, I get kinda a faint burning smell coming through my vents. If Im idling it smells like its burning smell coming through the vents, but when Im using the gas and the air is blowing through the vents with the car in motion, theres no smell. Im a bit confused cause my car doesnt over heat and from my knowledge from checking the water pump and stuff, it seems fine. I did however open my hood one day , the first day i smelled it really when it got really cold, and saw smoke coming from/near the acc belt drive/water pump under my motor cover. I check it sometimes since then and nothing since then. I thought my belt was loose or something, but its not...So im a bit confused.

Anyone willing to help?

 

i get the same thing.
i was convinced it was the crappy hid install the PO did before i got it.
its gone away mostly now that Ive disconnected it, but every now and then while idling i get the smell.
"seems" to be worse on colder days
