Bad PCM. how hard to replace?
*stomps feet, pouts, punches things, cries, dazes not wanting to be in reality anymore* so after i get that ill see what i can do again about the puter. who knows...maybe ill find that bad ground while we have the engine work being done???? time will tell.
the engine is a 3.1....and up until today i was still planning on buying a new ecm (not called pcm anymore?) at auto zone for $150. pay dealership $75 to program it and be done. BUT the car has decided she didnt want that done and i lost cylinder number 5 today so my engine is now toast. my new route is to figure out if im replacing her, rebuilding the engine, or just dropping a *unknown-of-care* used engine in her
