standard transmissions will fit in your car. there is enough room for the clutch and the shifter.

ive thought about this as well but i feel the cars a little on the heavy side for a stick. i used to drive it in the winter and lots of torque,light *** end,stick shift,and snow sounded like a bad combo to me. good luck though hope the links help.
