There's not much of a gain if you're not boosted.

I'll get one eventually, if it's my next performance mod then I could probably drop from a 3.4 pulley to a 3.1 or so, if that helps any.

Going to run non-intercooled for probably a year or 2, I want to get the transmission upgraded before I start pumping more boost.

I thought intercooling lowers boost a bit? I was looking at some from zzp but not too sure how well those work. id imagine it wouldn't be worth it if you're not boosted

im not sure if the eaton intercoolers lower psi but the one im gunna run should between 1-2psi not much. But it allows me to run more timing which it increase hp. But it also helps with safety since it lowers the core temps and temps going into the engine. Hence why most boosted cars from factory come with some type of intercooler.

you you are not planning to go lower than a 3.2 pulley i dont see a need for a intercooler. if you wanna go smaller pulley sizes than that then yes you will need to. intercoolers are for sc or turbo cars not n/a cars. there useless on a n/a car. you can make more power with an intercooler because you will be able to drop a pulley and add timing and tune right to make more power than being non intercooled even if it does take 1-2 psi away.
