No, my brothers power steering is going out and he makes an almost identical sound! Except it doesn't come out the alt. Its so weird. I was worried it was a ps pump. Thank God its not. I got E4 btw jc. Senior Airman now!

Congratulations Senior Airman. You have now reach the point (E-4) that I was at when I left the Navy after 10 years. I Hope you reach E-7 before that point I your career. If you stay in that long.

So update, I changed the PCV valve yesterday and it definantly quited the engine noises. Still have that underlying sound but now even just running my heat is enough to drown the noise out. Used to be I could hear the noises over my music.

At least it's all progress!!! Nothing worse then doing repair work to not yield results.

Right? Also when I put in the new pcv valve I realized that the old one was kind of stuck in one position while the new one moved around when I shook it. So good thing to fix anyways!
