Im trying to take the pulley off a 2003 monte carlo, I see a big bolt with a smaller star in the middle. Do I need to loosen the star before I attempt to take off the big bolt, should they both be taken off counter clockwise, thanks.

 

You need an impact gun to get that bolt off, otherwise, good luck
