I guess gm put a different limiter in some rather than others. I have an 07 with a 3500 and it cut off before the tune at 112. Im not sure i would need it to go faster not to mention the fact that it probably takes that 3500 a full half mile (total guess) to get it up that fast. Finding a suitable (smooth) road for that kind of speed is hard.

 

what i have read and seen frome outher peoplesposts. they kept them short and made fun of for not giving more detail.

 

the reson i would like to go abouve 107. is nowing to go faster to get out of the way from the ones who fly like a cat on fire. in the state of florida. every one who has a tuner almost creamed into me. one almost totalled my car just got it out of the shop.

 

on a weired note the stering wheel when the air bag went. crumpled and fd my hands dont know how but did. it seemed like it imploded i was still trying to slow and stop my monte doing 65.

 

thats the reason why i was looking for every thing.is because of the accedent. the intercooler i have is for the mustang i jave it is off of the supercoop thunderbyrd and the supercharger. kind of disapointing for has the 3.8 since the 80's didnt add the 4.0 till 03for the line up.

 

just wished the 3.8 chevy has and the 3.9 were still in the newer models.

 

Let me get this straight- you want to go above 107 mph so the tuners that are doing 107+ don't run into you?

i just had to chime in here... I'm sorry but this makes no sense. you would want to do the exact opposite if there are crazies out there doin 100+ all the time. you will end up totaling your monte again and messing up your hands even more, then you won't be able to type at all!! what a bummer, haha!

granted, we've all had a little fun sometime and taken our rides over 100+ mph, but in all honesty, after i did it i felt stupid as hell cuz i could have done somethin serious to myself or someone else. if there are crazies out there, be the smarter one and pull over and let them drive by. then you can laugh at them later down the road when you see them pulled over by the cops
