Default 95 MC Z34

Hello,
I wanted to know, on 95 MC's with the 3.4 DOHC, does the temp sending unit control the fans or is their an fan switch like most cars, I have searched for a fan switch and get nothing but a temp sending unit that is screwed to the bottom of the plenum next to the thermostat.
Any info will help,
thanks

the fans are controled by the computer. it uses the temp sending unit (coolent temp sensor aka ECT engine coolet temp sensor) to activate the fans at pre set temps.

Thanks for the reply, I have switched out my relays to new ones, as well as checked the fans itself and they work good when grounded, the only thing that I believe will cause this is the temp sending unit, I know that even if you get a reading in the gauge itself it does'nt mean that the temp unit is actually sending the signal to the relays. So I believe that the next thing I have to replace will be the temp sending unit for a new one. I get a reading on the temp guage but no signal to the relays to open up and turn on the fans. any ohter info would be appreciated.
thanks

i would check the wires from the computer to those relays then. cause i doubt the computer would just stop controling the fans. and if the fans, relays, and temp sensor is all good, then i'd guess its a break in the triggering wire for the relays. i dont think we have a seperate temp sending unit. the computer just reads the sensor and trigers the fan relay
