Off the line - Supercharger.
Fastest ride - Twin Turbo.
I'm not even going to touch the "Turbos are for imports" comment. From turbochargedpower.com: "The Chevrolet Corvair Monza and the Oldsmobile Jetfire were the first turbo-powered passenger cars, and made their debut on the US market in 1962/63"

i dont mean to say that muscle cars never had turbos or that they didint do it first but personly i think that a big v8 motor should have a big rootstyle supercharger on it and leave the turobs for the little 4cyl hondas thats all !! gm used turbo apps on a couple of there cars and i have to say that they are some of the fastest they ever built .
it all ends up being personal prefrence and i like supercharger better !!

Best way to get on two wheels is a supercharger. Unless you want to dump a lot of money on finding an effective turbo system as well as a good nitrous system in order to spool the turbo's right away to give you that instant power off the line. Turbo's will give you more power in the long run due to the almost endless amount of boost created untill the turbine in side maxes out it's rpm's. The downside with a blower will provide power instantly but will max out after the crank maxes out it's rpm's. The rest is up to you...
