3400 throttle body?
Im looking at getting a throttle body, possibly an air intake, plus a various other smaller accesories to give me some big gains on my 3400. I was curious after looking around, are they even made?

I know I've seen them out there somewhere but I just checked pfyc.com, zzp, and 3800performance and can't find them anymore.
Anyone else know where these might be? I could have sworn the first 2 carried something.

RE: 3400 throttle body?
no that is a completely diff TB. the 3100 TB cant be bored all that much. i have bored many TB's and hte one i did can be see on the last page of my WWW. the shape of the stock 3100 and 3400 just doesnt lend itself to gains from porting. yes there are some gains seen, but the majority of any gain is from matching the TB to the upper intake manifold... they are normally quite a bit off from factory. but for a nice bored TB go to 60degreev6.com and click their store for details on their TB's they have a circular shape vs the oval of the stock. so it will flow much better.

RE: 3400 throttle body?
i bored out the intake manifold and just bolted the new tb on. was a lot harder than it sounds..ie gasket annoyances and throttle cable problems, but it all worked out. did it myself tho with a lot of help from pheonix.
