3400 mods for your consideration
2002 Monte Carlo LS
3400 V6 Engine stock so far
I'm not looking so much to race, but I want my car to be more fun to drive at least. These two mods seem to be in my budget and expertise level, and they're doable in my humble garage with a basic tool-set:
ECU Upgrade
Wizaired CAI
Anything else I should consider? Anything short of an engine swap?
Thanks,
Joe

i would throw the idea of a wizair out, get with a local member or maybe see about throwing a mod day, and build an intake. you can utilize the fender well and have one 3 times as effective as a wizair.
dont buy a new pcm, find a local with a scanner and offer him/her lunch for a scan/tune.
that way you can save and possibly get yourself a few other items.
if you can get like a set of rockers that are a split ratio, as your naturally aspirated, you can gain 20 - 30 hp on those alone. with intake you might get a about 10 hp at most, maybe more. for under 500 you can get a set of headers and they also come with a down pipe, with a little more you can make a sexy sound and add to the fun.
i made a post a few mins ago you should check out. it is for the 3100 and 3400 engines.
