Default 3.4L Build

So seeing as this on spun some mains and I got an entire donor car for 350 dollars, I am looking to build my old motor from the ground up.

Pretty much I wanna get the most bang for my buck per say, I have no problems getting my hands dirty as I am the one doing the swap any way =).

I am looking to spend roughly 3-4k all together. That will be about my limit, of course it will be an over the year project. So what all do you guys suggest?

Honestly building the 3.4L isn't worth the time or money
