The key is getting the TC hub to seat properly onto the trans. pump gear.
First fill the TC with 1 to 1-1/2 qts. of trans fluid before installing it on the transmission input shaft (not the motor). Push it onto the shaft as far as you can then wiggle and spin it clockwise while pushing on until you're convinced it won't go on any further. The outermost part of the TC should not be more than 1/8"-1/4" beyond flush with the end of the transmission bell housing where it bolts to the motor. The new or rebuilt TC should come with instructions, but here's a couple videos:

Well darn
so after 11:30 she was ready to start last night. Starts up after a sec of cranking. Immediately start losing power and lights dimming. Obd2 tested it and got a p0335 code. Crankshaft sensor A error. I don't think the magnetic flange was secured yet.. could be a fuse.. could be a wiring harness short. No Rpms, loosing power quick, other than that I got two slow leaks in tires but like 8 spares mounted on rims so I'll troubleshoot this and then I'll be set. Any additional ideas?

Well, I don't think a bad crank sensor would cause a fast battery drain like that. In fact, I read where a weak or dead battery can trigger P0335. I would make sure the battery is OK and charging first. This might sound silly, but make sure the alternator is all plugged in.
