Default 2007 Monte Carlo SS

Which would be less of a hassle to add to a 2007 Monte Carlo SS?
Supercharger or turbocharger?
Its more of a personal car, to get around, to show off the sound, and appearance. But, on the occasion of someone getting cocky on the road its always fun to smoke em away.

I know that it being FWD, the transmission wasn't as much thought of, and i dont want to ruin the life term of my transmission.

Would it be a easier to just throw in a manual transmission, considering thats what i wish it was, and then putting in either the SC or TC?

theres a member on here, millermontess, that did a turbo and he said his transmission holds up fine, i would say turbo, im not sure what there is for supercharger if anything.

here's a link to the turbo.

it's pricy but tons of room for power.

thanks for your imput, still would like to hear from others, i still believe the weight of the car will be horrible on the transmission.

supercharger as well would be cheaper, but lets hear more imput.

There isnt any manual transmission to just "throw" in. I dont know if there is anyone who has swapped a manual behind the LS4. I think if you have the trans built by a reputable builder like tripple edge performance, you would have no problems at all with it. I would definately go turbo if you are worried about the trans anyway. A turbo puts less strain on a transmission since it builds its power as the car is moving and the turbo spools. A supercharger produces instant torque that can be a transmission killer.

and is the turbo mentioned above the cheapest/and most viable at this point?

Not to mention, im an idiot, because 07 SS Montes are ALL supercharged.
