Stumped...I plan on installing oil temp and oil pressure gauges but I cannot seem to find any oil filter adapters that are compatible with the 1998 Monte Carlo. Is it just because an adapter will not fit based on the way the oil filter area is built on these engines? I looked up other cars that use the same exact oil filters and there are adapters made to fit them, but the adapters for some reason say it is not compatible with my car. Would the adapters still work even if the websites say they will not fit? Does anyone know where I could locate the right oil filter adapter for a 1998 Monte Carlo if the others I have looked at do not work? Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
