ok... im new here and i figured if i was going to find out any information about my car i could find it here.... i recently obtained a 1986 monte carlo.... it has the cl emblem on thesides of the car... i heard from a friend of mine that all it is, is a package option. ithas a 305and 1/2 bench seats (if that helps at all) i have a pic that is on here... if there are any problems seeing it let me know... thanks for the help....

your frend would be correct in saying it is a package. It used to be a option that you could get just like the ones now being LS and SS.
they used to have sevearl classes or options pakages that would give you diffrent things.
But as for what they were i cnat tell ya. i never had anythign but landus and SS models.
But you can also get the Vin# off the car do a serch for Vin#decoder and they will have what the options are and what letter in the Vin. is the one that says it is a LS.SS. CL. etc....
Thsi will also help you narrow it down some for that year.
