100% synthetic oil MPG

RE: 100% synthetic oil MPG
I agree! There are other benefits from running synthetics. They are far superior under extreme heat and cold. I even run synthetics in my lawn mower, overkill I know but it makes me feel better. Mobil also makes a synthetic chassis grease that I use in all the greaseable joints in my truck.

I too have been using Mobil One in my lawnmower. On that note, I had to replace my lawn mower last summer but it was not due to an engine problem but everything else around it falling apart.
The one downside I see to using Mobil One in everything is that you don't get quite as many shiny new toys to play with.. lol
I have not tried the synthetic grease yet, mainly because I don't mess with routine maint, but I'll bring along my own tube next trip and try it out....

damn you 3100, 3400, 3800 guys
my 3.4L DOHC is a gas eater even factory they quote somewhere like 18 city and 25 highway
im seeing about 15 intown with a heavy foot and a little over 25 most of the time. but im running stuff to help:
-synth oil (just went back to castrol syntec) the car always ran better on it.
-fender well intake. with nice filter
-exhaust bypas/cutout
-Underdrive pulley
-Portmatched Throtle body and upper intake manifold
next on my list are:
-New O2 sensor
-Plugs and coils
-new tires
-alignement
for some reason (probably my TB) the car doesnt run nice on regular. Plus has given me the best MPG out of all. also check tire pressure!!! this will greatly effect mpg. and also junk in your car will too.

RE: 100% synthetic oil MPG
15 MPG's??? You poor guy..... If gas prices keep going the way they are I am going to start walking to work...
This week my monitor says 27.8 MPG.... I have really been taking it easy on the gas.
