i like the pinstripe suggestion, have a black one done on that bodyline on the side, along with the fender lip moldings, thatd look cool.

heck, i wanna do black moldings on my car now!

 

I plan on doing the fender and window trim in black, plus im going to try to find some other ways of putting black accents around the car. any creative ideas would be great. The problem is that I dont want to keep spooling TONS of cash to make this car look pretty, because;

1) college
2) after the car goes away, hopefully a challenger or 370z is on the way
3) college
4) college


so... with that said. any ideas?

 

ok guys... here ya go. The first few ones are the monte that gave me the idea around me.





The next few are whats happening for rust on my car. Im thinking of a way to get rid of it without having to repaint the whole fenders... and I think I have an idea.








Ill sand away the rust on the wheel sides of the lip (not much rust on the sides of the car yet, and all of which but the top of the fender I can fix and make look pretty) and then take a high durability paint and paint the fender lips. Ill just sand the whole lip to make sure and then tape the sides of the car off so from the sides it looks red, inside the wheel wells, itll be black, probably something like rhino guard or something. I also would get the Fender trim to help make it look less obvious, plus, maybe add a different look to it.


BUT! I might get it painted back how it was depending on cost.

 

i personally don't like the chrome ones. if you get them i'd definitely paint them black. just my $.02.

 

thats my plan. I have nothing on my car that is chrome... I personally dont know why he KEPT them chrome.

 

i thought that's what you'd said (that you wanted them black) but i just wanted to throw my thoughts out there. the chrome is too much. did you get them yet?

 

not yet... I just heading home from college and showed the parents on what was happening. Were going to sit down and discuss the car, what we think should be done (aka, put money into it or decide that the car is too near to dead). I want the monte to live, but, Im not going to give the car CPR for the next 2 years to keep hope. If we decide that its worth it, well have it sanded and repainted. if not, then ill do the trick whats mentioned before to try to keep it as close to looking good as I can with the trim and spraying the wheel wells.
