What wax to use and what precautions with the flames on the front?

I dont think you would treat it any different than the rest of the car as there should still be a clear coat on top of the paint and the wax will bond to the clear coat. Just make sure the car is clean before you wax, you dont want to wax on a dirty surface you will scratch the paint if you do that. Just wash the car real well, and claybar if needed.

As far as what wax you can use whatever wax you like. I would highly recommende Mothers carnuba wax I used that for a while with great results, meguires also makes great wax. Right now im using Jax Wax but most stores dont carry it. Surf City Garage has great wax I think walmart carries their wax.
