Default VHT Nightshades VS. Reverse Lights

Got bored last night, went to the store and found some Nightshades, Clear Coat, and 2000grit sandpaper.

Then I got home went to town.

Wet sand, two coats of VHT, dry for a few minutes, about 4 coats of clear. Then I let it dry over night.

This morning I wet sanded again and hit it with some Meguires Ultimate Compound and screwed them back on!

Here are a couple pictures of how they turned out. I think they turned out pretty good. Now I just need to gain the courage (and the steady hand) to try and do one coat of VHT on my taillights. Not something I'm looking forward to trying to do.

Here's a straight on shot.

I'm not really short and fat. Damn car reflection.

In the picture it looks like the nightshades it kind of uneven. Scared me and I had to run out and double check. Its just reflection.

Looks good. After about a month, get some rubbing compound and the drill buffer attachment and just go to town on them, you will get way more shine.
