Trunk keyhole

Trunk keyhole
It's a minor question, doesn't really need to be addressed, but if there is an alternative option available, I would take it. Is there any way you can dress up the keyhole on the trunk? I'm not sure what I'm looking to do, but perhaps paint it? Put a black ring around the outside? Anything anyone has done that touches it up just a tad would be helpful, thank you.

i guess you can remove it and paint it... but I've never done it. They use to sell these plaques that would surround the keyholes and they would say Chevrolet, or SS or Monte carlo... but that was the big thing back in the '80's lol

so whats the point of it. jsut incase you need inside your trunk with a dead battery. when both keyholes dont work and your locked out. so you remove the box, kick down the seats, climb though to the front seat to unlock the door. ill call triple a
