Default Trunk keyhole

It's a minor question, doesn't really need to be addressed, but if there is an alternative option available, I would take it. Is there any way you can dress up the keyhole on the trunk? I'm not sure what I'm looking to do, but perhaps paint it? Put a black ring around the outside? Anything anyone has done that touches it up just a tad would be helpful, thank you.

i guess you can remove it and paint it... but I've never done it. They use to sell these plaques that would surround the keyholes and they would say Chevrolet, or SS or Monte carlo... but that was the big thing back in the '80's lol

he took it out and put a plate over it and painted the plate, so the whole area is smooth now and no keyhole.

just open it with the remote or button on the inside

I actually took it mostly out, and filled it with bondo, smoothed it and painted the whole trunk. Bondo settled though a bit.... sigh
