I tried Surf City Garage Beyond Black Tire Pro Dressing - it works great - I bought it at Pep Boys last week - It's a spray but I applied it with a sponge. It doesn't give the tires a "wet" look (Not my taste) but it gives it a nice sheen - after a week my tires still look good and I've had it in the rain. I have not noticed any sling. I'm really beginning to like Surf City Garage's products - I also have their leather conditioner.

I agree. It stained the Nittos on my MSRT. I haven't used it since. It smells nice, but I will never use it again. I thought it was just a bad bottle of the Meguire's I bought. Oh wait...I don't even think I bought it. Oh yeah it was a gift.....

I've used Black Magic's Tire Wet. I've used all 3 types - liquid spray, foam and the gel (my cousin worked at a detail shop - he's got lots of extra products). I didn't care for any. The gel stained my tires and the other 2 had a life expectancy of 3-4 days.

I would go with Adam's Super VRT with a sponge, haven't had anything but compliments with any Adam's products.

I've been using it for a while now and get excellent results with it...never any of the problems you mention. I do apply it very sparingly, but even then only need to use it every other week. It's one of the better products I've tried. I haven't tried the Black Magic yet, but I might once all the Endurance is gone.
I use this stuff^^^ Works great with applicator on a cool tire. I also try not to drive the car for a while after applying. Just enough to get all around the tire. I have also had poor results from the spray though so def. use the gel with applicator

I don't know, I use Meguiar's Hot Shine and really like it. I get compliments all the time on how it looks, as well as people asking me what I use. Sprays on nice and doesn't sling off all down the side of the car nearly as much as other products I've used. Stays on for a while and cleans off the tire fairly well. Foam tire shines never really seem to cure and adhere to the tire and sling all over the car. I've never really liked anything with an applicator because it never seems to get the product down in the sidewall ridged and recessed areas.
