Black 06.

I'm a big fan of meguires. Usually I use tech 2.0 wax after Ultimate Compound. Use some meguires stuff on the wheels and tires too.

But I kind of want to try something else, you know, to waste some money.

What are other good products that can help get rid of light swirls and make my car look like a black hole?

I don't know about the waxes, but I home painted my headlights also. I had some initial problems with them fogging up because I used a black silicon type product to re-seal them. When I noticed that they fogged up, I removed them from my car, took off the caps on the back of them, and placed them in direct sunlight for about an hour. That gave them the chance to dry out. I put the caps back on while they were still warm and they haven't fogged back up since. Good luck on your quest to find the ultimate waxing compound.

I used to use a product that got rid of swirls and it was just a clear spray... I really don't remember what it was called though. As far as using anything other than Maguire's, I know how you feel but I don't see the point... I pretty much use their entire line and it's great to clean a car, keep it clean, shine it up, and keep everything healthy.

Definitly Look inot Zaino products. I was a big techwax advocate but Zaino has converted me. for paint I use Z-2 and follow up with Z-6. products require a bit more work to apply correctly but definitly worth the effort. www.zainostore.com

Are you going to be using a polisher of buffer or by hand.

Id look into Meguiars professional Mirror Glaze products.

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0 is absolutely outstanding. You could even top it with a Carnauba Wax if you wanted
