film/residue/grime/smokers haze/ it seemed to build up alot faster

I will never again but a window cleaning product, a wet microfiber towel works just as good as any product out there.

I use a glass cleaner by Castle. Use that with a microfiber cloth.

Hm... OK, but why would you use Rain-X on the inside glass?
