Default Stock grill replacements....

Does anyone know of a grill insert replacement for my stock '06 grill. I was looking for something that might have the SS emblem on it rather than the stock gold Bow-tie. I wanted to slightly customize the frontend.

to get the SS on there you have to remove the bowtie and put on a SS emblem there. i have lookied around and there arent any with SS on em. or you can paint them like i did. i went black with a blue pearl over the emblems and grills

Ooh, that's nice. So, this also feeds into my peeves about the "SLP" grill for the '00 - '05 front fascia. Here we have polished stainless steel, for $106 + s/h AND...it bolts in. The all-plastic "SLP" retails for about $140 ($89.99 when you can find it on ebay for a deal) and is taped over the existing grill opening, AND...YOU have to get it painted.

Am I being unreasonable here are does anyone agree with me? I would love to get one and install on my '05, but I just can't part with $90 - $140 for a little plastic stick-on grill. I felt bad about shelling out the $50 for my taillight covers when I got those from PFYC. Those little plastic covers shouldn't be more than $10 - $20 MAX. I would pay $30 - $40 dollars for the grill and not feel bad about it, but I just can't do $140.
