Default RADIATOR

My monte has been giving the low coolant level message on my dash. I took it to the shop where I got a radiator flush and they filled up my radiator but told me that i should clean my dex coolant tank. any advice on how to clean it out? anything would help...thanks

they said the same thing to me buti just assume goto the dealership and buy a new coolant holder im sure they cant be that much and i think your best bet cleaning is unhooking it and putting nice hot water in it shaking the **** out of it and emptying it and keep doing it till its clean but i dont think it will get it all out

or ya cheat like i have in the past when the ex put oil in the damed thing .
take it off the car go to a car wash and put it on the floor step on it to hold it in place and stick the nozel in to it and have a buddy trun it from soap to rinse a coupel of times and make sure when ya get home you rinse it again with real hot water,

as soon as mine gets back to me im planning on changing it over to the green stuff I hate dexcrap and dont even want to consider what it has done to the car now.

I thought the reason we use the dexcool is to prevent corrosion to parts with different metal composition? I've owned 3 vehicles, all 3 are dexcool, never had any coolant related problems with any of em.
