Can i put my 2 cent worth in. Guys & Girls I know dry their cars ,bikes, trucks different ways. I'm not trying to hi jack this thread. Just letting out some info. I used to help a few painters in my life. Now getting a car dry is easy. But Once you have had one car ,bike or truck Rubbed out. Or buffed what ever term you want to call it. Water will not stay on your Toy. If you look at paint thru a magnifying glass. I has hills & valleys. Once you rub it out. It makes it SMOOTH. So theres no play for dirt , water to stay. Hence easier to keep clean. On my Chevelle. I've had it buffed out and waxed from a friend. He did a great job. Now if I pull it out to rinse the dst off. When put the hose to it. Water just falls off. I bought a plastic blade to get rid of what water is left on. I use One towel or micro fiber. To get any left over. I use my compressor to do the wheels. Cause water always get by the lug nuts & its hard to get it out with a towel. Just trying to help. If you want your Toy to be easy to keep clean. Have a detail shop do that for you. WELL WORTH the money. It may cost you a few hundred bucks. BUT.. Beleive me its some of the best money for what your getting. Everytime after you get this done. is like the 1st time. The 1st words out of your mouth will be OMG. I should have done this yrs ago. Makes kife easier. And I'm all for that. Rick

You type funny Rick! But its a good and valid point you make! and from experience none-the-less. How well your vehicle dries, and what works for you, is probably totally dependant on how the vehicle is prepped before water ever even touches the vehicle.

And everybody on this board still wants that Chevelle Rick.

The Wax keeps the water and dirt from staying on the car, not how smooth the paint is. You can have perfectly smooth paint with nothing on the paint that will repel water, i.e. no waxes, no polish residue, no oils, no polishing oils left behind from buffing and the water will stick to the car like a car that hasn't been waxed in years...

Im just saying because I do it..
