I use a chamois and dry everything, lift the hood, trunk, open the doors, etc.

that is the way I have always done it also ^^^
I am a gadget guy and that is why I got it I am sure a leaf blower or compressor would work just fine as well as the traditional ways chamois or water blade . I just did some research and found this and thought I would share the info ;D

just a update I have had this for 5 months and it is pretty cool i give it a 10/10 on being a vacuum cleaner better than my Dyson !! this thing Sucks !! LOL

Now on the car drying part i will say the first time i used it to dry the car it found dirt in the cracks that i thought the garden hose and i had got especially the door moldings (door guard) and the window moldings, roof rails !! I mean to say they look clean but until I blew dry them I did not know how much I missed .
so lets talk about what it works best on for me
#1 the SLP upper grill #2 headlights #3 door handles #4 rear spoiler #5 you get the idea here .
I don't knowhow much time it actually saves me any time but when I am done the car is bone dry every where and the driveway is still wet LOL i have to wait to move it LOL

now the bad if you can call it that
the tires and rims take me the longest but the tires and rims are ready to sine and wax in about 7 to 10 min each
and i found it a pain to order the new bags the ones that came with mine had no part # on them it took a call or 2 to get more

I tried the California Water Blade and it left marks on my car. I do like it for the windows tho.

I just ordered one, Amazon has by far the lowest price for the 4hp with the dolly, 6'hose, two 20" extensions and 13 attachments. $159.99 + free shipping.
