You want to preserve the rubber and plastic not dye it thats not the key here you want to keep your cars parts for as long as possible.

The problem with that is I got my car used. Everything else on it was immaculately taken care of. But the door trim and sunroof trim are sun baked.

The products sold at Griot's Garage is safe and will not damage anything on the car and has the purpose of preserving delicate parts on the car.
