im looking for chrome bumpers for my '78 monte but its looking impossible, can you guys help me find some?

 

in 78 there were none offerd for the monte carlo.

If you wan tyou might beabel to get some off of a malibu in that same year and try to fit them. but as far as the monte carlo gose that was the first year of the short body style and from that point on they didnt offer them. even the 4th5th and 6th gens do not have the chrome bumpers

the chrome trim looks nice and i was thinking of getting that, but maybe if anyone knows if malibu bumpers would fit i could do that?

 

i know this doesnt go with the topic but i didnt feel like making a new one, does anyone know if a 78 malibu hood would fit on a 78 monte?

i found a nice cowl hood id like to get for when i drop a 350 in my monte

 

yep it should fit but the issue you will run in to is the body lines on your hood would be diffrent.

If it is in a bone yard talk to them and ask if ya can test fit it to make sure it will. or even a privet owner might let ya to
