I am wondering if anybody has a good product for leather not a cleaner a softner for the leather. driver side is fine but passsenger side is needs tlc sun has done some damage back seat is good but they all could use a treatment

It's a 2 step process. Get a good leather cleaner, agitate that in with a "leather brush" and wipe with a microfiber. Then follow that up with a conditioner, let it sit for a bit and then remove the same way.

Wolfgang and Lexol are both good (I use Lexol). The conditioner is what will help revive your seats and protect them, but if the leather is dry it could be too late. Avoid the cleaner/conditioner in one things like Armor All makes. Leaving cleaner on your seats can dry them out so I don't like having cleaner being the last thing going on the seats. Hence why most go with 2 separate products.

 

I get great results with meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner(the pump bottle, not the spray or wipes) probably the best 1 step product I've tried. It leaves a nice lo-gloss too that using seperates like lexol cleaners & conditioners don't do too much of.
I used it on my buick's leather seats & the back ones were hard as a rock it was so dry..after a few applications it was alot smoother.
Its quite versatile too. I use it on almost anything as a good cleaner/conditioner except the dash.

 

The best I have used is from Adams leather Cleaner and Leather treatment and it keeps that leather smell nice. Leather cleaning
I use a high quality leather cleaner and a soft brush spray product
and scrub a section at a time softly not much effort in the leather
then wipe off with a microfiber towel now your ready for you treatment.

Mel, you now prefer the Adams product over Zaino? What made you decide to switch? Softens the leather better? Better appearance? Leather smell linger longer? I ran out of Zaino and tried the Surf City stuff but wasn't too thrilled with the results so I went back to Zaino. Before that I was using Lexol. I began using Zaino at your recommendation and quite happy with the results, but if Adams offers a better product I'm willing to give it a shot.

 

Another big thing, apply liberally!!! The leather should absorb the oils.

I like Meguiar's leather cleaning and conditioning products.

 

I love using Wizards products for everything. They have a bottle they call "leather plus" or something like that and they also have a bottle called black renew for tires, leather, and vinyl. Their products are expensive but work SO good and wouldnt do anything else other than that other than meguair's or mothers i use for other things on my car. pricy but worth it

 

Because there product last longer in the leather just make sure you apply a good amount do a small section to see how the product works and work it in to the leather and like ChibiBlackSheep said it is skin so it needs moisture!!
