None of those are made to get out what you want to get out. They just get out the very fine scratching, you need to get a compound on the car.

I realize that they dont have anything to do with getting out swirls and whatever but i dont wanna waste money on compound nd stuff if i dont have a DA to apply it ...

 

You can compound by hand, it just takes a very long time. Read the link I posted

 

There is a great product that you can buy at any advance auto parts store that will be a good temporary fix until you can take it to the detail shop. Its put out by turtle wax and is called "The Black Box". It works great for swirls, scratches, and even some deeper scratches. A few people I know have used it on their black cars, I myself used it on an old Chevy Tahoe Blazer that I used to own. It looked brand new when I was finished. Its a 3 step process that all comes in the box. The only thing you will need are some rags, a polishing cloth and a couple terry cloths. I can't stress enough, when using this product, do not wear good clothes, stay in the shade, and make sure you shake the hell out of the bottles before you use them. The results are Amazing!! I wish they carried this product in other colors!! (The price is around $20) Good luck and keep us posted on how you did. (By the way, there are no harmful materials in this product. It will not damage your clearcoat or paint, and the results last a long time).

 

Personally I wasn't a fan of the black box. It's just a dyed wax (which is not new). The second it rained my car seemed spotty.

I would rather see you take the time to compound by hand, than just dye it.

 

Strange about the spotting. I didn't experience that. After using it, had the truck in the sun for a couple hours, and in the evening I applied detailer spray to it and I found it lasted longer. Anyhow, good luck on the detailing. In time it will need to be buffed and most likely professionally detailed if you can't do it yourself.

 

It's like the wax and dye started to separate on my car. I had to wash it off.

 

I tries theblack box nd it didnt work for me...what applicator pad would you suggest? And what product after the conpound?
