Headlight Lens
#11
My headlights have had covers on them for probably 90% of my ownership lol! I usually pull them and clean them once a week at least. Really helps protect them. Glad I don't have to worry about reconditioning them lol.
I'd never use brake fluid though. Possibly with the lights off the car but I've seen it do some crazy stuff to paint so I prefer not to let it near my car unless it's going in the reservoir lol

Jon on headlights I would do 800-1000-1500-3000 the 800 cleans up great and then finishing with those three really gets rid of all scratches
And since you use an orbital at the end it ends up looking better than new

Looks great! I know I have to do mines and my wifes soon.
Also, I would like to know how do you post pics like that on the site instead of they been seen as a attachment instead of a photo

@Mitch depends on how deep the oxidation is. I have made a set look like new with just 1000 grit and a rotary buffer.

Great job on those lights Jon. I tried that once but it didn't look near as good as yours turn out

be careful with just 1000 grit, it will most likely leave scratches that will come back in the future, 3000 is a perfect ending grit regardless IMO
