Default Got that there motor all shiiiined up....now what?

I took some time this morning to degrease and shine up the motor area. Looks pretty good, but still has a long way to go to be all spic and span. I kind of want to do a blue and black (or maybe blue black and silver) theme under the hood, in the trunk, in the cabin.

Soon I'll have my new Cold Air Induction CAI, and I'll get one of those blue Spectre air filters to go with it. I'm giong to paint the plastic cover blue, and then the support bars blue.

What else would look nice in blue? What else can I even paint blue?

I always think color matching to the car gives the most "finished" look, but just the plenum cover. Everything else looks best in polished IMO

I agree that color matching always looks nice. But its hard for anything in the motor to stand out when the car is black on black. I like the black car, but it needs a splash of color. What kind of metal polish do you use?

I used some engine degreaser, then I used CD-2 Engine Detailer. The stuff works awesome!

Looks great! Idk you could repaint the engine cover so it'll have some blue going on with it

You should buy a second engine cover and paint that one :P

This way if you hate it, you can just sell the painted cover?
