GM T.S. Grille Insert added, pics
I funally got my Tony Stewart grille insert from GMpartsdirect.com. Took 2 1/2 weeks, but it finally got here. Put it on today. Kinda wished I had painted behind it matte black, but I'm not sure that would be any easier to clean. FINALLY that blasted chrome emblem on the front is gone! Never liked it, even on the '01 SS LE previous to this car.
Let me know what ya think.

looks real nice, i've even considered one and my car is silver. i woulda done it to my car long ago if it was black. cant stand emblems myself either, took em all off except the front, and then modified the front one. but i cant get rid of it with those holes behind it.

I'm trying to keep it as much GM as possible. The wheels, I believe look like Vette 5 spokes, stereo just had to be, like the K&N,but the things like the AC Delco tranny cooler, GMPP bowtie nut on the S/C shroud, the '02 Intimidator speedo overlay, and now the Tony Stewart grille insert, are all GM parts. GM big brake kit is soon to happen, also. Problem there is these Hawk pads just won't wear out! 85,000mi on them now. Only half worn.
I tried to make the 1 1/2" Stewart Warner gauge cluster to look as much as possible like a factory unit.
I kinda like the GM mark of excellence emblem shown elsewhere. Just can't figure where to put it. Maybe under the hood, front and center.
Does GM make an intercooler for the L67?
