I've used most of them over the years. They all make your car look shiny, but some are quite expensive or a pain to apply and/or remove. More effort/more money does not always equal better results...

I've been using the Turtle Wax Ice product line (blue bottles) for the past couple of years. The polish, wax and quick detailer do not leave any residue at all. They all wipe off clean and easy and leave a very smooth and shiny finish. Very good value in my book. I also just recently added Meguiar's Carnauba Spray Wax to my detail kit. Very easy to apply with the expected results that carnauba gives.

I use Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and a buffer to prepare the paint for polish and wax. Ultimate Compound will cut through oxidation like butter, removes most scratches, and leaves the surface smooth and ready for protection. I use this instead of a clay bar to get the exact same end result. Much easier on the elbows

X2 on the Adam's, have used most other brands and none are as easy to work with as Adam's.

The forum support and how-to videos from Adam's are as helpful & welcoming as MCF.
