i have a question,

where can i buy the rubber band who goes where the glass of the door fits?

it has rotten with the time, i have a 1980 Monte Carlo. i need that rubber band.

I would try E-Bay. Other places might be Napa, Advanced Auto Parts, and maybe a GM dealer... I've never looked for anything that old before.

 

Any chance you mean the roof rail seal? It attaches at the roof and when you raise the door glass it touches this seal.

If this is the part you want, places like SteeleRubber sells repo seals such as these. As does Soft Seal. Even OPGI sells reproduction parts for Montes.
