RE: bugs
to remove them you can use lots of elbow grese or
use bounce dryer sheets (just what i have here at the house so i havent tried other brands)
they will take the bug goo off of most paint unless it has eaten threw the clear coat but it would have to be there a long time
Also after you was your car use some pam cooking spray on it.
use the unsented un flavored stuff to keep them off of it.

RE: bugs
Dryer sheets? What do you do, just scrub the bugs with the sheets? They feel kind of course to me, at least the ones we use...I would be nervous. I was curious about a solution to this problem because I do alot of highway driving so you can imagine what the front of my car looks like...

RE: bugs
Just washed my car today, the front end was absolutely caked in bug guts and blood. Just wanted to share what I did that seemed to work pretty well. I made the nose of the car the last part that I washed, BUT, as soon as I started washing the car I hosed down the nose, and then hosed it again every time I picked up the hose, keeping the front end soaked the entire time, in effect soaking it like a dirty frying pan. Then, by the time I got to actually washing that part of the car, it only took a minimal amount of scrubbing and absolutely everything came off. I was surprised, because I was going to try the dryer sheet thing, but didn't have to.

RE: bugs
I drive alot at night also going to work and what not and my front end is completely plastered - I see a ton of recommendations but there isn't really a key one to use.
Does it sound like the PAM spray is the best way to go in getting it off. Gosh does it make my car look like ****.
Recommendations are appreciative.
