Default Bottom Trim

Hey guys. Just thought I'd tell you that I am painting the bottom trim of my 02 monte LS. Its maroon with black trim on the bottom. Today
I am painting the trim silver. Let me know what you guys think. I'll be posting the before and after pictures, either tonight or tomorrow.

I know some people don't like the silver ground effects look, but personally I like it.
I think the silver trim along the bottom of your car would look great.

You're gonna have to imagine a Monte instead of an 88 Z24, but it would kinda look like this color combo:

Hey, I was thinking of doing that to black. You COULD do a DIY with pics and show me a few pointers...

Hey Im gonna upload those pictures here in an hour. It took some work and about 5 hours, but the new color looks great. It was a little difficult getting the rocker moldings on the sides off of the 02, (the 01 was easier, just bolts) but I'm extremely happy with the results. Also either today or monday, I am adding silver pin stripes with the bow tie at the back end and in a few weeks Im ordering the monte emblems for the rear quarter panels.

I would like to do the same thing to my gold 2002 LS, and I noticed that there are tiny bolts on the bottom of the skirts and lower pieces of the front and rear bumper.

What size wrench did you use to take those parts off?

Anybody think they could do a photoshop for me?? With my white car with the black rims and silver GE? Thanks much.
