Any NJ detailers here?
Can somebody please just tell me what to buy? There are too many decisions and choices.
I'm not trying to spend my whole check! I know I need a clay bar. I want something
that's going to protect the paint in this 100 degree weather. I want sheeting, not beading.
The bumper is fading, so if there's something to minimalize that I'll put in the extra work.
I took some pics of the trouble spots I wanna work on. I just washed it this AM
then the lawn guy came and cut the grass and it all ended up on my car. Ain't that a [:@] !!!

Notice the residue from the free detail job the shop threw in when I bought it.
The bumper is a major sore spot. Should I have it painted or replace it? The trunk lid is dull too.

This is not wax residue. (Front bumper)

I am keeping these wheels and tires so I wanna bring em back to life.

Anybody know what brand this is?

A replacement grill is in order.

Various imperfections. Much of what you see is grass and residue.

you're going to need to repaint those bumpers... i don't see anything helping that except a body shop. a clay bar and some ice would do good... so would Meguiars 1-2-3
Actually, I've decided to get it done professionally and then just maintain it. It needs a lot of work. Not sure if I can afford to get the bumper painted right now, but it's coming. Are there any detailers here in the NJ/PA/DE area?
