All the Small Things...
Hey guys, I really feel that sometimes we get to preoccupied with spending large amounts of money on mods for our Monte's that we overlook all the small things that can really make a difference.
For example, I've replace all the bulbs with the exception of my reading lights and the license plate light (even though i'm waiting on the white led in the mail), with white lights. These include the turning signal bulbs, dome light, footwell lights, reverse lights and trunk light. (I have a 2006 Ls btw).
Nice and cheap, and easy to do and it really does make a difference i might post up some pics of them later on if you guys want me to.
K&N Air Filter is an amazing investment, I've only had mine for about a week but the improvement in acceleration is very noticeable and my MPG increased by 1 =0
Well, that's just a few things that I thought I'd throw out to you guys I've been a part of the forum for a few months now and haven't really contributed or gotten involve (note the "new member" tag i still have lol).
Hope you guys enjoyed it. [8D]

Yea my avatar isint even mine, its off the web. My cardomain is in my sig if you wanna see my BABY lol. Just some visual mods in the interier, I'd love to find the body colored sideskirts to replace the ugly plastic ones i have now. Maybe the standup spoiler instead of the surfboard style one i have now, just a bunch of little things.
Seein your sweet rims makes me wanna sell my 18inch SS wheels and get some real rims, im a lil undecided on that now.

Detailing your car can be one of the best things you can do to improve the looks and isn't that expensive.
For anyone who hasn't tried clay barring the paint on their car please give it a try. You will love the outcome once the job is complete. Don't forget to wax once the clay barring stage is done.
Detailing your tires can also give major improvements on the looks your car gives. I happen to like a product I can spread on myself. I hate the aerosol can applications cause I always seem to get more on the car's wheels or me then I do the tires.
Even a simple pin stripe added to your car can give lots of improvement. You don't needto spend big bucks on pin stripeeither. Any car parts store can order in pin stripe for you if you don't see what you're looking for on their shelves?
Nice car by the way. [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

chibi the dome light cover wasa little tricky but all you have to do is get a pretty thin hard material like a small screwdriver (like the ones for a watch) or something like that and pry it out through the side of the cover. the cover should come right off and no damage should be done (i wish i knew this before cause now i have a small crack on my dome like cover =( but oh well, no big)
and yea pinstripes are a great idea, mine came with them on from the dealer and i love them.
hey rick you should do the bulb changes for sure, ill take some pics of my lights tonight so you can all see them
steel the side skirts i think look nice in black but i agree the plastic is kinda cheap and if you have any luck finding the standup spoiler please let me know lol that's been one of the hardest things to find >={

I have changed all my interior lights to blue and i think it makes it look great. I have a 03 SS and i do not think it has the lights at the license plate and i can not find where the bulb is to replace it to a blue one also, i think its a 194 bulb. replaceing your head lights to HIDs or evenjust to a higher K I have 8500K which is a bright white with a hint of blue makes the car look great at night, with some amazing visability.
