Who has factory pin stripes on their car?

I only ask this because my knephews have been noticing all Monte's on the road here in SoCal and they report back that they have never seen another car with pin stripes.

 

I never saw pinstripes offered as a factory option online or in dealer literature,including those big showroom guides with paint samples and all.I would think either they were dealer or owner installed.

 

I remember a thread here about how someone didn't like the tape style pin stripes on their car. Don't know if it was factory or owner installed though.

All I know is that my car has them.

Cain, what do you know about factory pinstripes?

 

 

Space, I like them. I didn't even notice them when I bought the car. The main thing is that my knewphews like it. They say it makes the car stand from other Monte's so I'm happy.

 

Yeah.. I havent found an RPO code for one yet.. I do like them, but Im doing the debate on my lazer blue monte.. Stripes.. or pin stripes...

 

The Chevy Dealership in the town next to mine adds the pinstrips and the word MonteCarlo at the end of the stripe on the side of the car. They charged an extra 300 bucks for this detail. Next time I'm down there I will stop by and take a picture of it. They also do this to the Impala.

 

I don't think I've seen another '06 or '07 Monte with pinstripe on it?

I put some on mine, but I had to do it myself.

And I'd LOVE to have the duel racing stripes on my '06 Monte. :]

 

Once again RJ, if I had a silver LTZ or LT3, I would put rally stripes on.

Reminds me of my maroon '67 Camaro RS I once had.

 

pinstripes, the smallstripes on half the cars on the road are dealer installed items.the 06-07 rally stripes like the old cars were aGM option.
