Default Baseline 06 Monte Carlo 3.9LT

I hooked up the G-Tech this morning, and went out to play. Temp was 44 degrees, the road was cold and bumpy, so wheelspin was a problem, even with TC on. Here's the results:

0-60 foot----------2.32
0-60 mph---------7.10
50-70 mph--------4.27
1/4 mile-----------15.3 @ 92.2 mph

I feel these are pretty good numbers (except 60 foot time)- the car is stock, had a full tank of gas, and a 265 pound driver. Anyone else have numbers for a 3.9?

It's got 20K on it- I bought it used with about 18K. Since this was a baseline run, prior to modifications, I tried to control as many variables as possible: vehicle weight, section of road used, tire pressure, etc. Reason being that it's easier to duplicate conditions on subsequent test to see if there really is a performance increase from a given modification. I fugure I could knock off an easy half to three quarters of a second by dumping some weight ( less gas, lose the spare, have my 100 pound daughter drive, etc),air down the tires, remove air filter and other little tricks, but I like to test it in exactly the same trim as I drive it to work.

BTW, thanks for the link! I'm still learning my way around here.

I wish I had a G-Tech.

I really would like to know what my 0-60 time is but doing it with a stopwatch is so inaccurate
