Oh boy another day!! it's the first of March today is ASH Wednesday.
some one has given me a cold?
Hope non of you'all get this stupid thing. 
For those of you who enjoy Fish. Culvers restaurants has a Great Walleye Dinner during the Lent season and they serve it everyday of the week.

Good morning guys, first day of March! Going up to 60 degrees today then quickly dropping this afternoon into the 20s by midnight.
Last night we had some good, long duration thunderstorms with a lot of lightning, thunder and about 2" of rain in less than 10 hours. Several of my neighbors have a lot of standing water in their yards - thankfully I do not.
22 unconfirmed tornadoes across four states yesterday - Arkansas, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri

They had the warning on the news last eve about Tornados in Iowa here where I am, close to Cedar Rapids I think.
I was seeing the Lightning from the Hotel window.
To early for that stuff few days ago we had snow??

The weather has been crazy. Last week we hit new record highs 5 out of 7 days. We're actually suppose to get some light snow this evening, suppose to get around 3" in mid-Michigan.

Well it has got to get warm soon summer is just around the corner. I think where you may be in Michigan is probably 200 miles north of where I am in Waterloo, IA laterally cause this is about 150 or more north of my Nebraska Home.
The do cross country skiing around here which I can't back home we don't usually get more that 2 feet of snow annually and that usually 2 inches at a time.

We have been lucky I guess. Overall it has been a mild winter with only a few bitterly cold days here in southern VA. The crazy line of thunderstorms is moving across us now. I pray for safety for everyone and I pray for those who have suffered loss of homes and family. Good luck to all!

I am glad everyone is doing ok.
We had rough weather in two sets of storms last night.
And the wind is kicking up here now with 40 mph gusts and snow showers.
