Mornin guys. Just having a cold one right now. All I got is Coors Original in the fridge, so it's cold beer tonight. If I have Shiner, or any other German style beer, I leave it warm. German style beers are best enjoyed warm.
Guys in Minnesota, keep an eye on the weather. A good portion of North Dakota and Minnesota are under a moderate risk. This is primarily due to high winds. Devin, might watch what's going on out there for another potential derecho type event. I'll be at work so I won't be able to follow it so much. This has been a very interesting year weather wise. Other than April 28, all the Mod risks issued have dealt with either large hail or damaging winds. Makes me wonder if the secondary (autumn) season will make up for the lack of tornadoes in the spring. Oklahoma is on track for the fewest tornadoes in recorded history, but I'll be watching closely starting in September to see if the secondary season makes up for that.
Pretty much everyone on the plains will need to watch out for the heat returning this week as well. NWS offices all the way up to Nebraska are emphasizing the heat building in the next few days. We'll have heat indexes well into the 100s for the first part of the week, including in the 110 range on Wednesday. To be honest though, I prefer this to cold. I had to wear a jacket or sweatshirt last week and I'm not too fond of that. Glad we got the rain but if it had been in the 80s with lows in the upper 60s I would have been much more comfortable.
Hope y'all have a good one, and those in areas expecting severe weather keep your heads down.

The dew points are up there here. 69* in early morning is high for even here. We won't get the forcing though that they'll get further north. I have a feeling the secondary season will be bumpy here. It's usually not this humid before August. With the winds coming from the Gulf still, it'll be packed full of moisture when those fronts start pushing south in the fall.
