Hi, I'm now a Monteholic
Hello, my name is Patrick and i'm a Monteholic!
Hi all was searching for a Monte forum and stumble upon this one, searched through a bit of it and joined up. I have a NICE 1986 Monte CL with the 4.3 "fuel injection" just recently bought it from a dealer with 45k miles. Im not planning on doing any HUGE performance upgrades but as parts break ill replace em with performance parts[sm=smiley17.gif], Like Grandpa says "dont fix it if it aint broken but when you do make it count"
As of now its just been mostly cosmetic stuff, tinted windows, Xplod radio and added a Flow master Delta 40 series muffler. When the weather starts getting nicer i have alot of little paint chips to fill in, any tips?
Anyway thanks for having me, and beleive me you'll see my posts ALOT, im like a sponge right now sucking in everything i can about Montes, Charlotte's my first Monte!

Hello Patrick,
[sm=welcomesign.gif]
Glad you found us!!!
Invest in a nice buffer, and for the bigger chips it does not hurt to have a paint booth. lol
I would check out Wolfgangs products and site, they have a ton of very useful info and products. I've gotten pretty good at removing water spots and have not graduated to paint chip fill-ins but I hear it can be done with the right equipment and chemicals.
The CL "Custom Luxury" from my understanding are rather difficult to come by these days.

Well if its confusing, you can call me what most people do "Big Show", I look exactly like him and not too much shorter (6' 6"), I cant tell you how many times ive been asked for an autograph lol. Ive been dubbed that since the guy got popular and the fact that i do "entertainment wrestling" doesnt help much either lol.
