Default Driver side power window

My driver side power window keeps messing up.Today I rolled it down, and it went down fine - no problems, then Ipushed the buttonto roll it back up, nothing happened. So I pushed the button again and it went up maybe 2 inches, I then pushed it three or four more times to finally get it all the way back up. For some reason it just don't feel it is the motor, I feel like the swtich is shorting out or something. My main questions are does this happen often and how much is it to repair something like this.

Thanks so much!!
Morgan

BTW I drive a 2002 Monte Carlo LS

Morgan,
Mine was doing the same exact thing. The window switch is on it's way out and needs to be replaced. I bought the new switch for around 55 bucks and replaced it myself and all is fine now.

Ya I had the same problem as well and it was just the switch. Look on ebay and you can find a new one for cheap
